On this page
Most product sites review their own product favourably and call it a review. This page sets out the criteria we actually apply, including the several that Cognicept does not meet, so you can judge whether our other pages are worth anything.
The criteria we apply
Formula verifiability: can a buyer establish what is actually in the product? Label transparency: are all actives named, are amounts disclosed, is standardisation stated? Claim compliance: does anything cross into treating or preventing disease? Safety disclosure: are known interactions declared prominently rather than buried? Manufacturing: where, to what standard, and is that standard a legal minimum or a real credential? Testing: is there independent finished-product verification? Commercial terms: refund window, start date, conditions, minimum order. Support: does it answer substantive questions in writing? Evidence: what does published research say about these ingredients at plausible doses? And source integrity: are cited experts and ratings verifiable?
How Cognicept scores
It fails on formula verifiability, which is the criterion we weight most heavily and which no other product we have reviewed has failed. It fails on dosage disclosure and standardisation. It fails on published finished-product testing. It fails on source integrity, given an uninspectable star rating and an unverifiable reviewer credit.
It passes on claim compliance on this site, on individual ingredient naming, on support contact, and on having a stated guarantee. On safety disclosure it passes here only because we made a deliberate editorial decision to document both candidate formulas and their interaction profiles — that is a property of how we chose to write, not of the product.

Apply these criteria to every supplement page you read, including ours. If a page never names a drawback, it is advertising. If it cites research without stating the dose used, check whether the product provides it. If it invokes FDA registration as approval, it is stating something false. If it publishes a rating you cannot inspect, discount it. If it credits an expert you cannot find in a professional register, discount that too. And if two sellers publish different formulas for the same product, do not buy either until one of them shows you the panel.

- Fails on source integrity given an uninspectable rating and unverifiable reviewer
Pricing and packages
All pricing below is from the Cognicept official website. The Cognicept discount is applied automatically by quantity — there is no code to enter, and quantity tiers are the only genuine saving available.
| Package | Per bottle | Total | Supply | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles — minimum order | $79 | $158 | 60 days | Charged |
| 3 bottles | $69 | $207 | 90 days | Free (US) |
| 6 bottles — best value | $49 | $294 | 180 days | Free (US) |
There is no single-bottle option, so $158 plus shipping is the smallest order. Quoted prices differ between sellers — one lists the three-bottle tier at $59 rather than $69 — so confirm your total at checkout. Reference prices appear as $99, $149 and $179 in different places; treat all of them as anchors. See the refund policy.
Verdict
Cognicept fails the criterion we weight most heavily - a buyer cannot establish what is in it. It passes on ingredient naming, compliance on this site and commercial terms. We publish both, because a review reporting only the passes is not a review.
