Liquid supplements introduce a measurement problem capsules do not have, and this product adds a second problem on top of it.
What a dropper actually holds
A full dropper means one complete squeeze and release of the bulb, drawing liquid to roughly the halfway mark of the pipette — approximately one millilitre on a standard supplement dropper. It does not mean filling the pipette to the brim, which would be closer to two millilitres and would double your dose. This is the single most common error with dropper supplements and it is worth checking against your own bottle's graduation marks before your first dose.
Getting consistency
Shake before every use, since ingredients in liquid suspensions settle and an unshaken bottle delivers a different dose at the top than at the bottom. Squeeze the bulb fully, release once, let the liquid settle and read against the marks. Hold the dropper vertically. Do not top up with a second squeeze. If your pipette has no marks, a cheap oral syringe from any pharmacy gives an accurate measure. Do not touch the dropper to your tongue and return it to the bottle.

See Cognicept PricingWhy the undisclosed amounts matter more here
You are measuring a dose of something whose composition you cannot verify. If the formula contains Huperzine-A, that is a cholinesterase inhibitor researched in micrograms with a narrow useful range, and over-measuring is consequential. If it contains high-dose B6, long-term excess relates to peripheral neuropathy. If it contains caffeine sources, you are stacking with your coffee. Start at a reduced dose for the first week regardless — it assesses tolerance and extends the first bottle during evaluation.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Simple once-daily timing supports good adherence
- Dose adjustable by volume, unlike fixed capsules
- Starting reduced extends the first bottle during evaluation
Cons
- Dropperful is ambiguous and commonly over-measured
- You are measuring a formula you cannot verify
- Huperzine-A dose-sensitivity makes over-measurement consequential
- Requires shaking before every use
Pricing and packages
All pricing below is from the Cognicept official website. The Cognicept discount is applied automatically by quantity — there is no code to enter, and quantity tiers are the only genuine saving available.
| Package | Per bottle | Total | Supply | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles — minimum order | $79 | $158 | 60 days | Charged |
| 3 bottles | $69 | $207 | 90 days | Free (US) |
| 6 bottles — best value | $49 | $294 | 180 days | Free (US) |
There is no single-bottle option, so $158 plus shipping is the smallest order. Quoted prices differ between sellers — one lists the three-bottle tier at $59 rather than $69 — so confirm your total at checkout. Reference prices appear as $99, $149 and $179 in different places; treat all of them as anchors. See the refund policy.
Verdict
Shake, one full bulb squeeze, taken consistently at the same time. Start reduced for the first week. The dropperful ambiguity is the main dosing error, and it matters more when you cannot verify what you are measuring.
